Film Types

Solar film

Heat and glare from the sun can be a particular problem in the home, affecting comfort and productivity. Solar film can reject up to 78% of the sun’s heat and reduce glare by as much as 86%. Solar film also blocks 99% of harmful UV rays, protecting valuables and the interior of the home from fading.

UV Film

FadeLLumar AU85 is a clear UV window film which provides an anti fade screen by filtering 99.9% of UV transmission, while allowing daylight and clear vision through the glass.  This type of film is normally used to protect valuable goods from the deterioration caused by the sun’s harmful rays, for example wood floors, carpets, furniture or works of art on the walls. It is also used to help protect our skin. There are millions of people worldwide who suffer from sensitivity to ultra-violet (UV) light to some degree. AU85 UV shield is a technically advanced, clear polyester coating that keeps out almost all the UV light. The scratch resistant coating ensures it is easily cleaned and needs no maintenance. This film can also be applied to the car for even more freedom, and is being installed in playgroups, schools and dermatology clinics.

Safety Film

Safety film provides an invisible yet highly effective protection to people and property.  Available from 50 to 350 microns, all tested to relevant British (BS 6206) and European (EN 12600) impact tests.  Safety films have a tough, scratch resistant coating and holds glass fragments together in the event of breakage.  It will also help to strengthen glass, lessening the risk of breakage following malicious or accidental impact.

Privacy Film

Conservatory Roof Film

shutterstock_96601408Coolkote is a unique, high-performance metalized PVC coating for conservatory roofs, roof lights and industrial premises. Intolerable heat and glare can make conservatories unusable during the summer months, but this film prevents heat building up simply by reflecting the suns heat away before it can be transmitted inside.  Glare is also significantly reduced and applying this film is less expensive and more effective than blinds.
