How long will it take to tint my car?
The length of time depends on the type of vehicle, but on average it takes around 2-3 hours.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, we normally book appointments a day in advance but can sometimes offer same day appointments.
What type of warranty do you offer?
We offer a lifetime warranty on our workmanship and the window film we use. As we are an Authorised LLumar Fitment Centre we only use the top of the range LLumar window film. This film will not fade, discolour or delaminate.
Do you provide a mobile service?
All work takes place in our purpose built, fully equipped workshop facility to provide a clean and controlled environment to ensure the best quality finish. Having seen work that has been completed by mobile window tinting companies, it is clear that there is a greater chance of dirt contamination under the film and creasing caused by the unpredictable British weather.
Do you have a waiting area?
Yes, you are more than welcome to wait in the reception area where we have sofas, television, access to wifi and refreshments. Alternatively, Sutton town centre is only a short walk away with a wide range of shops and cafes.
Do you need to remove any windows or door panels?
We will only remove door trims, panels and windows when necessary. Any windows held in by rubber seals will need to be removed to tint to the edge of the glass. Door panels are only removed when they restrict access to the complete window and may cause contamination of the window film. All work is carried out by competent, fully trained technicians who are fully insured for your peace of mind.
Can I open my car windows straight away?
We recommend that you allow at least 2 days before opening the windows in summer and at least 5 days in winter. This gives the film time to dry and allows the adhesive to cure.
Does the window film affect the heated rear window?
No, you can continue to use your rear heated windscreen straight after application if necessary.
What should I clean my windows with?
When cleaning the inside of your windows, any normal window cleaner with a soft cloth may be used as long as it is not abrasive.
When I come to sell my vehicle, can the window film be removed?
Yes, all window film can be removed without any damage to your glass. We do advise that you have the car de-tinted by a professional.
